working as an interpreter for fourteen years. The focus of the interpretation are both in the medical area for patients and in the education field where providing communication support between
schools and parents. Olivia enjoys teaching and interacting with students. She is a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese and fluent in English.
Preschool English teacher. Lizzy earned her Bachelors degree in German from the University of Oregon. She has two years of teaching experience from South Korea and loves working with children. She is an avid reader, enjoys arts and crafts, and likes to participate in public speaking activities.

She assists the school with her curriculum development skills and participates regularly in professional training programs. Her hobbies include music, reading, travel and shopping.

Junyu is good at achieving her academic goals through storytelling, discussion, teaching, training, and research. She loves to develop classroom leadership and encourage her students critical thinking skills. She believes that education gives people options to choose the lives which they truly want to live and make positive changes. She likes moving towards a sustainable lifestyle and trying out delicious foods.
Sub-director, Chinese teacher and drama instructor. Li, Ling has over a decades worth of teaching experience and holds a diploma in early childhood education. Ling has a lot of experience in curriculum development and she is a native Mandarin speaker. She is of gentle and kind nature and the children adore her. Her interests are in travel, shopping and music. She has helped our school with choreography of student performances and is overall, a fantastic teacher.

She participates in the Confucius Institute Summer Training Program at Portland State University, Oregon, and also participates in the Hanban Training Program in Beijing where she has been awarded for certificates for her work. Ainong is teaching Chinese at CEC Chinese school as well. She is a standard Mandarin Chinese speaker.

Hua Lu received professional training in child psychology and early childhood education in Shanghai where she held successive teaching positions at local multinational kindergartens before moving to America. She is really good at developing new games and new curriculums, and she has a unique sense of joining care and authority for the greater benefit of her lovely students. She is a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese.

He teaches English to preschool classes and is the creative writing teacher for elementary students. He has a passion for teaching and is excited to use fun and creative ways to educate his students.

Lindsey has taught at two other preschools before joining Goodtime and she has also worked as a volunteer for a conversation partner program at Portland Community College. She loves working with kids and feels happy when they can learn more of their native or new language. As a teacher her goals are helping kids learn literacy and listening skills.

B.A. in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language M.A. in Anthropology and Theology, former director of Minority Culture Center at Beijing Language and Culture University. His research focuses on comparative culture and language pedagogy. He is a member of the International society for Chinese Language Teaching, American Council on Teaching Foreign Language, Chinese Language Teachers Association and other academic organizations. His books, Games For Learning Chinese and The Courses of China and USA Comparative Culture has been published in 2011 and 2012. His newest work, My First Chinese Bible, was published in 2016. He speaks standard Mandarin Chinese.

Master’s Degree in Japan. When I moved to the United States, I have been volunteered in public parks and schools for their international culture fairs for several years. I enjoyed introducing Asian
culture to American people. Besides those activities in public, I taught my daughter Chinese and helped her homework in math and science at home from elementary to high school. In my free time, I
like to dance and play sports activities. I enjoy doing Zumba, Yoga and other exercises in the gym. I am bright and energetic person. I always have my passion for teaching, and I keep learning new
things in my daily life. I love to be with people, especially young children. I will be so happy to see them growing up every single moment.
I was born in Beijing, China and immigrated to Portland, Oregon in 2000, where I have lived since. My education background includes: B.A. degree in graphic design. I worked as a graphic designer
for family businesses for years. I have volunteered to teach Mandarin in local elementary schools in Tibet. While traveling, I also have taught Mandarin to people in the U.S., Canada, Nepal, Turkey,
Egypt and Serbia. Before working at GoodTime, I worked at a private preschool in Portland for almost one year. I enjoy working with children and seeing how much they learn and grow. They make me
laugh with little things they say as they learn. I am delighted to be part of GoodTime!

She has dedicated her life to teaching Chinese in China and US for the last two decades. She is interested in Chinese pedagogy and publishes books and dissertation about it. She used to be Chinese language teacher of Catlin Gabel School and she is Chinese teacher of French American International School as well.
